About Mahesh

Mahesh's musical journey began at the age of six, when he started learning vocal music. His interest in the violin was sparked by watching concerts, and with the encouragement of his parents, he found his first guru, Shrimaan KV Raghavachari. Under his guidance, Mahesh learned the fundamentals of violin for over 10 years, performing in numerous concerts alongside his guru. At just 10 years old, he performed at All India Radio in Vizag, an achievement that laid the foundation for his professional career.

After the passing of his first guru, Mahesh continued his training under Smt. Peddada Suryakumari, with whom he has been studying for over 8 years. His dedication to Carnatic music is fueled by its ability to instill discipline, concentration, and a deep appreciation for art and culture. Mahesh believes that Carnatic music is not only an art form but also a way of life, offering joy and a profound sense of connection to heritage.

Inspired by the unwavering support of his parents and the guidance of his gurus, Mahesh follows the principle of Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava, Acharya Devo Bhava, which he believes has been key to his success as an artist. Today, as a teacher, Mahesh is dedicated to passing on the rich tradition of Carnatic violin to his students, continuing the legacy of his mentors.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, Mahesh's guidance will help you unlock the depths of Carnatic violin and experience the magic of this timeless instrument.
