From her earliest days, Shweta Kashyap's life has been intertwined with dance. Encouraged by her mother, who has been her biggest supporter, she took her first steps on stage to the tune of "Maiya Yashoda" in Nursery, earning a standing ovation that sparked her journey into dance. Her formal training in Kathak began in 2nd standard, marking the beginning of a deep appreciation for Indian classical arts.

As she matured, Shweta delved into the intricacies of Kathak, drawing insights from ancient scriptures and the scholarly works of eminent artists. Her passion for preserving this rich cultural heritage led her to embrace teaching, aiming to impart both technical mastery and a profound understanding of classical and non-classical dance forms to the next generation.

Shweta's expertise is not confined to Kathak alone. She has explored various dance forms, including Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi, enriching her repertoire and teaching methodology. Shweta holds a Master's degree in Kathak from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow, and has been honored with the Governor's Gold Medal for her outstanding achievements. Additionally, she has completed a B.Ed. from Lucknow University, equipping her with pedagogical skills that enhance her teaching effectiveness.
