Rajitha Nair

Rajitha is a highly skilled dancer and instructor with over 30 years of learning and experience in the field. She is the director of Kalastaanam, a leading classical Bharatanatyam school in Kharadi, Pune, where she teaches and trains students of various age groups in Bharatnatyam, semi-classical, fusion, and Bollywood styles. With a student population of 50, Rajitha prepares her students for exams conducted by Gandharv Mahavidyalay and also officiates as an examiner for various levels of Bharatnatyam exams.

In addition to her work at Kalastaanam, Rajitha has also choreographed and prepared her students to perform at various shows, events, and temple festivals in and around Pune. From 2014 to 2018, she worked independently as a Bharatnatyam, semi-classical, and Bollywood dance teacher, handling a class of 25 students.

Rajitha has also performed in New York and New Jersey in the US, and across India, and has won several competitions.With a Masters in Bharatnatyam and a Visharad degree, Rajitha has been teaching for 15 years and is highly regarded as a great asset to her institution.
